Our story
Built by women, for women
Girls Workout Club exists to make fitness feel safe, fun and sustainable.
Who we are
A community built on showing up
Fun sessions, women, real connections
We started with a simple belief: every woman deserves a space where she can show up exactly as she is with no judgment, no comparison, just pure hype and support.
Here fitness does not have a fixed look
Today, GWC is a female fitness community offering curated workout sessions, transformative events and content that meets you where you are.

Our community
We’re more than a workout
A community of women who motivate, uplift and grow stronger together.
Our vision
To make fitness fun, inclusive and beyond physique.
Our mission
To help every woman build a fun, sustainable fitness lifestyle by understanding that true body positivity starts with taking care of her body.
Our promise
We promise a safe, inclusive space where fitness is more than just exercise.
Still growing
One session at a time
From a handful of women to a growing sisterhood, every session brings us closer together.
Our journey
The Launch
We launched as Oyana Femi-Fit with a Bikini Blast event and a slogan that said it all: "All bodies are bikini bodies." The idea was a simple but powerful belief that every woman deserves to feel at home in her body before she ever breaks a sweat.
First Studio
We found our first home at 27 Boxes in Melville and turned it into a vibrant space where Saturday sessions came alive with dance-fit, yoga and group therapy.
The Shift
Oyana Femi-Fit evolved into the Girls Workout Club; a name that said what we always meant: fitness should be fun, sustainable and radically welcoming. Our Saturday sessions moved to the heart of Johannesburg at Ellis Park Arena and our community grew right along with us.
Our Official Home
We listened to the girlies call. Now we're building a space that's truly ours, a permanent home where consistent sessions, connection and growth can happen every single day.

Gilda Vamussa
Founder & Head Coach
“I built GWC because I needed it myself. Now it's yours too — come as you are.”
Let's grow together. One session at a time.
